The HVAC Commissioning Engineer will be part of a multi discipline commissioning team that will support the project commissioning team leader through the commissioning preparation and execution phases. The commissioning Engineer will:
- Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety
- Carry out commissioning preparation, test documents, commissioning test packs and RAMS
- Creation and surveillance of HVAC commissioning deliverables
- Contribute to the production of test documentation and to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs
- Perform testing activities for witnessing by third-parties
- Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids
- Witness and verification of FAT HVAC equipment
- Onsite supervision and validation of HVAC commissioning activities
- Contribute to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements
- Actively drive continuous improvement within the commissioning process and drive progress to meet schedule dead-lines
This position will contribute to development of commissioning plans and manage tasks within the System Commissioning scope of work, which will be further detailed in the Plant test schedule, system Commissioning Plan and the System Acceptance Plan.
- Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule
- Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or route to achieve similar
- 3 years commissioning in a similar role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry
