Salary: £38,000 to £42,000

An opportunity has opened for a Process Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Taunton. The ideal candidate will have a background within the Electronics and/or Electrical industry and have experience working within production/manufacturing departments, designing and testing new processes that cut costs down and increase productivity.
The company is a mid-sized manufacturing company who are going through a period of growth and need to expand their Production and Electronics teams.
What theyre looking for:
- Background and knowledge of Electronics and Manufacturing
- Experience working as a Process Engineer or similar
- Knowledge of process design and testing to improve productivity
- Proficiency with engineering software systems
- Continuous improvement experience
- Excellent documentation skills
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working with the Manufacturing and Production team to assess existing processes
- Discussing, drafting and implementing new processes to increase productivity
- Designing and testing new manufacturing processes
- Ensure new ideas are within health and safety parameters by running risk assessments
- Producing simulations and documentation of findings and troubleshooting problems
