Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with at least 3 years of experience who is looking to grow and develop their career within the nuclear sector. You will be involved in a variety of exciting projects, working alongside industry experts and contributing to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for nuclear projects.
  • Support senior quantity surveyors in managing contracts and procurement processes.
  • Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting for ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction or energy sectors.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost management software).
  • Experience with NEC or JCT contracts is highly desirable.
