The Opportunity:They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a crucial role in a high-profile infrastructure scheme. You will oversee all commercial and financial aspects of the project, ensuring its successful delivery on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing all costs relating to building and civil
  • engineering projects.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget.
  • Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team.
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards

Requirements:

  • SQS background
  • Previous highways / public realm experience
  • General Civils experience
  • Experience with NEC forms of Contracts
  • Degree Qualified
  • Chartered or working towards
