We are seeking a qualified Supply Teacher to cover GCSE Science and BTEC Applied Science at a sixth form college in Taunton. This is a short-term, full-time position ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is ready to engage with students and effectively deliver pre-planned lessons.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver pre-planned lessons in GCSE Science and BTEC Applied Science.
- Engage students in learning by using effective teaching strategies.
- Monitor and support the progress of students throughout the lesson.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Address any student queries related to the subject matter.
- Provide feedback on student performance to the regular teaching staff.
- Must be a qualified teacher or have significant experience covering GCSE Sciences.
- Strong understanding of the GCSE Science curriculum and BTEC Applied Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Proven track record of managing a classroom and engaging students.
