Contract: This is a 21-hour post, over three days.You will be joining a dynamic and supportive local team, working with and supporting people who are in the process of getting a diagnosis or are worried about their memory, giving advice and support to both the person and their carer.You will be working with GP’s, Memory Service, Weston General Hospital, other Dementia Advisers and other organisation’s who would refer to the North Somerset Dementia Adviser service. You will be supported to do your role by your Manager and team and there will be lots of opportunities for training.There will be a mix of face-to-face meetings, telephone support and work within local communities alongside opportunities to meet with your team, and update your dementia knowledge.
