Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Taunton

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:30, term time only

Salary: £14.45 - £15.20 per hour

Long-Term Teachers are seeking enthusiastic and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Taunton, supporting students across all key stages, from Primary through to Sixth Form settings.

About the role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support to students with SEND, adapting learning to individual needs
Assist in delivering an ambitious and creative curriculum
Encourage students to become active participants in their learning
Work within a collaborative and compassionate team
Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
