- Provide consistently excellent legal services, exceeding client expectations.
- Comply with Solicitors Regulation Authority’s ethical standards, maintaining strict client confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Undertake fee-earning work independently and as part of a team, contributing to department profitability.
- Manage private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Trust and Estate Administration.
- Build and maintain client relationships while fostering connections with third-party referrers.
- Contribute to department growth by expanding the client database and marketing firm services.
- Record all chargeable and non-chargeable activities in the firm’s time management system.
- Collaborate with colleagues to cross-refer work and clients within the firm.
- Manage financial aspects of matters, including cash flow and billing.
- Maintain organised, up-to-date files according to firm policies.
- Identify and pursue fee-earning opportunities proactively.
- Seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and firm policies.
- Fulfil additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
- 3-5 years PQE
- Strong organisational skills; ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Hands-on experience in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Power of Attorney, and Trust & Estate Administration
- Excellent client-facing skills; able to nurture existing clients and third-party relationships
- Ability to develop new business and participate in networking events
- Strong prioritisation skills; capable of meeting strict deadlines
- Technical proficiency with good IT skills
- Strong academic background
- STEP qualified
- SFE accredited
- Previous use of case management systems
- Full clean driving licence as travel to see clients will be required
