We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our lovely team on a part-time (up to 20 hours per week, flexible to the needs of the applicant), permanent basis based in the Penrith area. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £14.50 per hour weekdays and £15.50 per hour weekends.

We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.

The Support Worker Role:

A support worker is required for a gentleman in his late 60’s living independently in the Penrith area. The gentleman has an acquired brain injury.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the client and promoting independence with daily living tasks including household chores, personal care, shopping and regularly going out in the local community.

What we are looking for in our Support Worker:

  • Good communication skills
  • Patience
  • Problem solving ability
  • A sense of humour
  • Driver with full UK License essential.

The successful applicant will be joining an experienced, established team. The role is for day time hours only, 3 or 4 short days per week. The applicant will receive full training for this role and regular supervision from the Senior Support Worker

The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.

Please note we are NOT able to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who requires a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.
