Event Marketing Specialist

Teddington

Our client based in lovely offices in Teddington are currently recruiting for an Event Marketing Specialist to join their team.

The overall purpose of this role is to lead and manage all global events which our client hosts and participates in. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and other team members, the overarching objective of the role is to achieve a consistently high quality presence, while meeting the KPIs for performance relating to lead generation and customer relationship development.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Plan and document the annual event calendar, comprising webinars, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, customer user groups, and other innovative online formats, to meet the strategic needs of the business
  • Prepare and adhere to an annual event budget, as agreed with the Head of Marketing.
  • Using the event messaging and content plan from the Head of Marketing, manage and execute the day-to-day requirements and deadlines to ensure marketing events are executed to the expected quality, on time and to budget.
  • Monitor and report on results of events, and analyse results to shape future event selection and planning.
  • Attend and oversee event execution, including running webinars, as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years experience of running successful events marketing programmes, including virtual and physical events
  • Experience of project managing fully global marketing events programmes (UK, EU, USA, APAC).
  • Proficient working with international vendors and teams
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Canva and Asana.
