5 hours shifts (5 days a week - Monday to Friday) - 09:30 or 10:00 am start to 14:30 or 15:00 pm finishing. Arriving early to site and ready to work at the start time (depending on candidate these times could start at 09:30 or 10:00am)

As a Concierge you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents and guests at the building and will be the first point of contact for all queries.

The concierge services for the property include but are not limited to holding keys, taking deliveries, assisting residents with queries, greeting, screening, and escorting visitors, reporting any health and safety issues, and ensuring that the common parts are kept clean and tidy.

The Concierge will answer any queries, providing assistance to residents, and making visitors welcome. The Concierge needs to maintain a high level of quality of work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for residents, guests, and contractors, whilst being professional, well-groomed, and well-mannered.
  • Offer a high level of customer service to residents and visitors.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the development.
  • Cover the Reception desk and answering phone calls, as well as answering emails - When having to cover this post.
  • Ensure the security of residents and the development.
  • Undertake security and health & safety patrols - internal and external and report back. This has to be performed daily.
  • Undertake once a day lift alarm checks across 7 lifts internally and externally across the site. This must be performed as early to the beginning of your shift.
  • Monitor access-control, CCTV, and security systems. whilst at the same time maintaining the security of the premises.
  • Operate a secure Key and Key-FOB management.
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety and Fire Regulations.
  • Receive, record and store deliveries, mail, and parcels.
  • Ensure bin-room waste and recycling management are provided. Making sure all bins are correctly placed out the day before collection and placed back in the correct spot the next day after the collection. On the collection day you must be present when the refuse bin collection is being undertaken.
  • Reporting light bulbs out in communal blocks to the estate manager
  • Routine checks of the communal areas of all the blocks, external patrols including litter picking and reporting issues internal and external.
  • Ensure the completion of 'Incident Reports'.
  • Report and action repair of defective/non-functioning equipment.
  • Attend professional development training courses, as required.
  • Support and take-direction from the Property Manager.
  • Notify the Property Manager of any queries or problems on site which require urgent attention, including any residents' complaints.
  • Co-ordinate, instruct and allow access for services to the site, such as deliveries, contractors, utility companies, letting agents with appointments.
  • Monitor regular contracts on the site, such as cleaning, ground maintenance and ensure that all work is undertaken in safe manner and that all relevant signage is used.
  • Maintain all diaries and logbooks in a clear and concise manner ensuring that incoming shifts can fully understand issues which might be of importance on their shift.
  • Ensure any illegally stored items are reported and removed form site. Note that this includes all areas including corridors and the car park. This would be patrolling regular site inspections on daily shifts.
  • Ensure that the front desk is kept in a clean and tidy manner and ensure that all policies and processes for key issues/holding and parcel acceptance are always adhered to.
  • Respond to any emergency alarms in a timely fashion, reporting any serious issues without delay to the Property Manager.
  • Be prepared to attend site in the event of an emergency, outside working hours, as required.
