Our client based in Teddinton are currently recruiting for an Office Adminstrator with CAD Design experience to join their organisation.

The Office Support / CAD designer role is designed to support the company’s design and administrative processes and to ensure that the rest of the team has adequate support to work efficiently.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate to join an impressive team. You would be given the chance to develop administrative skills along with developing your existing CAD knowledge.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and estimates with a high level of precision, and according to the sales team’s specifications.
  • Working with CAD software to create technical drawings and renders (training will be given in their CAD software).
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Working closely with the sales team to convert estimates into orders.
  • Inputting business information into a bespoke IT system.
  • Dealing with customers’ order processing and payments.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally graduated with a 2:2 or above in a relevant design-based degree.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Being thorough, with great attention to detail, is essential to avoid costly mistakes.
  • Be a team player, with the ability to manage assigned tasks independently.
  • Having a good spatial awareness within design would be beneficial.
  • Other duties such as process and general office administration and assisting with the warehouse function.
