Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a busy operational hotel in the Teddington area of Greater London and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial interim basis.

What's in it for you?

  • General office hours Monday to Friday, however offering PT hours on an interim basis only (minimum 3 days)
  • Hourly Rate - Get paid for every hour that you work.
  • Weekly pay - You get paid every Friday.

Package

From £15.00 per hour depending on experience - paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate and timely payroll for all hotel employees
  • Manage end-to-end payroll cycle, including data input, calculations, and disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and employment laws
  • Handle payroll queries from staff and management promptly and professionally
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE and National Insurance contributions
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and generate reports for management review
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
  • Collaborate with HR to process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status
  • Assist in streamlining payroll processes and implementing best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g. Sage, Xero or Similar)
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • CIPP qualification or working towards it (desirable)
  • Fourth Hospitality is essential

Must be immediately available with no prior commitments including holiday, notice and must have the right to work in the UK
