Salary: £31,524 - £32,931 per annum dependent on experience (plus sleep-in allowance)

Achieving for Children are opening a second childrens home and are looking for a Therapeutic Intervention Worker and Edge of Care Outreach Worker to join their team.
Responsibilities
- The role will be working within a childrens home setting and offering outreach support to children in the community
- You will provide day to day care of children and young people within a family based environment that promotes positive attachments and relationships
- Work alongside the wider framework or professionals and families in order to understand a childs life experience and respond and act in ways that promote a childs opportunities and potential
- Work directly with children and young people
- Provide the best quality of personalized nurturing care that meets the needs of very vulnerable young people
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a stimulating, nurturing home where children feel happy, cared for and safe
- Provide 1-to-1 outreach support to children, young people and families in their own homes and in the community
Requirements:
- Diploma level 3 in caring for children and young people is desirable
- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to recognise signs of abuse and trauma and deal with safeguarding issues appropriately
- Experience of keeping and maintaining records
- Ability to cope with the pressures of a residential care setting
