Description
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
- Assist in the production of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Analyse market trends and competitors.
- Oversee operations of the finance department.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A strong background in accounting and finance.
- Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
