Your new companyHays are working with a successful business who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part time basis in Telford, 30 hours per weekYour new roleYou will work closely with the Financial Controller and be responsible for the following duties:
- Sales Ledger - Post and allocate cash
- Reconciliations
- Credit control - chasing debts via phone, letter and email and resolving queries
- Liaising with the sales team in regards to new accounts
- Purchase Ledger - Processing invoices, reconciling statements , resolving supplier queries
- Process company credit cards
- Liaising with employees to obtain monthly returns and receipts
- Reconciling, coding and posting to nominal accounts
- Liaise and work with employees managing queries
- Any additional ad hoc tasks
What you'll need to succeedYou should be an experienced Accounts Assistant who has good IT skills and who is self motivated and able to work on her own initiativeWhat you'll get in returnThe role is 30 hours per week, but the business are flexible on if you would like to do this over 4 days per week or shorter hours over 5 days.
