Your new companyHays are working with a dynamic business who are offering an outstanding opportunity for A Level or College leaver who is looking for a career within Accounts Your new roleYou will be working closely with the Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant and receive training and support to perform your duties which will include:
- Daily processing of sales invoices and posting customer remittances to the sales ledger
- Processing supplier invoices for both sterling and foreign currency to the purchase ledger and cash book
- Supporting the Assistant Accountant with Credit control and providing customer statements at month end
- Assisting with administrative tasks where required
What you'll need to succeedThe role would suit an A-level or college leaver who is determined to build a career in Accounts. You should have excellent communication skills, accuracy & attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as being proactive and professional.
