I currently have an opportunity available working at a leading fabrication company, as a Junior Quality Engineer or Apprentice. Role Overview:

As a junior Quality Engineer or Apprentice, you will work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all fabricated products meet their high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the quality control team in inspecting and testing materials, products, and processes.
  • Assist with identifying and documenting non-conformities and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that all products meet required specifications and standards.
  • Learn and assist in the implementation of quality assurance practices and procedures.

What we are looking for:

  • A keen interest in engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and engineering principles (desirable not essential).
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills in quality engineering.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A background in engineering or a related field (e.g., BTEC, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • For apprenticeships: no prior experience necessary, but a genuine interest in quality control is important.
