Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading electrical product manufacturer in telford , we are recruting for a skilled and experienced tendering engineer.
Job Requirements
- You will require a good knowledge of the LV Switchgear industry.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of quotations based on customer requirements, and the completion of general arrangement drawings to support quotations.
- You must have excellent communication skills as they will be required to liaise with customers to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.
- Logging of all new enquiries received into the company onto the CRM (ACT!) database.
- To be the main internal contact point for the Sales Manager.
- Managing the “enquiries@” email account for the company, ensuring all emails and enquiries are responded to in a timely fashion.
- Establish a sensible triage process based on criteria including, but not restricted to, customer, product offer, success rate, lead time required.
- Working with the Senior Tender Engineer & the Sales Manager to ensure priorities are captured and communicated.
- Ensure good communication is maintained at all times with both external customers and the Sales Manager e.g as and when priorities change or return dates cannot be met.
- Share daily workload planning / priorities with the Tendering Team and the Sales Manager to ensure customer return dates are met.
- Maintain the integrity and quality of the ACT! database through routine chasing and data review.
- Ensure all CUSTOMER WON and FINAL NEGOTIATION quotations are regularly chased, and feedback gained with the Sales Manager, Senior Tendering Engineer, External Sales Team and customers directly.
- Manage the copy quote process.
- Routinely chase OPEN quotes to ensure lost projects are closed.
- Share ACT! reports with Eaton sales force on a monthly basis to enable up to date information is captured.
- To provide additional support to the Finance and Admin Team during busy periods.
Salary
- Dependent upon experience
- From £30K
Hours of work:
- Monday – Thursday - 07.30 – 16.45
- Friday – 07:30 – 12:00
