Due to a recent and large surge in business, the company is looking to expand its team with a Machine Operator / Assembly Technician to help keep up with recent success. Your new roleThe duties of your new role include, but are not limited to, the following:- Operating automatic upcut saws to cut aluminium profile stock as required from the production cutting list- Operating the CNC Router to cut a variety of panels as required from the production cutting list.- Operating Milling and Drilling machines to perform basic machining to lengths of extruded aluminium.- Determining the correct cut lengths to minimise scrapWhat you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will require the following:- At least 1 years in a similar mechanical engineering role.- Minimum GCSE Mathematics & English.- NVQ Level 2 In Mechanical Engineering- Ability to work within given time frames- Able to work easily with others and be part of a team- Electrical installation wiring is desirableWhat you'll get in returnIf successful in this role, you will receive a healthy salary well within market rates, the opportunity to be put through free and funded education/training to better your career, and other industry-specific benefits.
