MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a well established business in Telford, this job is working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week) and the starting rate of pay will be between £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (DOE) - pay rate due to be reviewed ahead of the National Living Wage increase from the 1st April 2025.
Previous experience working with wood or timber would be preferred, but this is not essential.
The role can be physically demanding and we are looking for someone who is prepared to get stuck in and help within other areas of the business as or when required.
What You Will Do:
- Load raw materials and accurately set machines for operation.
- Measure, cut down, and inspect parts coming off the machine to ensure quality.
- Keep detailed records and perform maintenance procedures to maintain machine efficiency.
- Work from and understand technical drawings to meet production requirements.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete supporting paperwork associated with the manufacturing process.

- Previous work experience within a busy workshop environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
