I Need Staff Today Limited is a recruitment agency based in Wolverhampton. We are seeking experienced Machine Operators for our client (based in Telford), a leading producer of packaging solutions based on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) film. They offer innovative and sustainable, high-performance polyethylene and polypropylene film solutions for consumer and industrial packaging, transport packaging, agriculture, hygiene, and medical technology.
We are looking for dedicated machine operators to join our client's production facility. This role involves operating industrial machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and performing quality control checks.
Loading products onto machines ready for production.
Operating various types of machinery to produce rolls of polyethylene and polypropylene film products.
Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring proper manufacturing standards.
Packaging products ready for dispatch.
Lifting and moving products as part of the job duties.
Perform additional duties as assigned beyond machine operation.
Must be 18+ (due to insurance protocols).
Experience operating industrial machinery.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Own transport is required (no reliable public transport is available).
Must have safety boots.
Previous experience in plastic packaging or film manufacturing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: Dependent on shift and experience (£11.44 - £12 per hour)
Working Hours:
4 on / 4 off (Days and Nights) 12-hour shifts
Monday to Friday shifts: 6:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00
(Shift patterns depend on location and client requirements, may be regular or ad hoc)
