Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Setter Operator to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Machine Setter Operator our client is offering;
- Starting salary of £31,605 which rises as experience/competence are signed off, if you can run all processes it can rise to £41,220
- 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 05:55 - 18:05/17:55 - 06:05
- Permanent role

As a Machine Setter Operator your responsibilities will be:
- Operating large machinery
- Checking settings
- Ensure products meet the standard for quality
- Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers
- Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards
- Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis
- Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line
- Ensure safe working practices
- Support training of process staff
- Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder
What our client is looking for in a Machine Setter Operator:
- Must have proven experience operating large machinery- ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience quality checking products- ESSENTIAL
- Must have a strong understanding of the principles of quality assurance- ESSENTIAL
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment - PREFERRED
- Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Must be observant and have strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
