Job description
Aspire People currently have caretaker job positions available and are looking for a maintenance professional to work on a temporary basis upkeeping the school premises staff in carrying out day to day general maintenance and DIY jobs on site.
There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the School year which run for varying lengths of time. There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the School, although this is not guaranteed.
We offer roles starting as soon as possible with varied work hours ranging from full day shifts 7:30 to 4:30 to split shift days.
As a school caretaker, the school will expect you to:
* Carry out general upkeep and cleanliness of the school and the premises
* Carry out odd DIY jobs throughout the day delegated to you.
* Make sure the school is presentable for the whole day.
* Open and close building/Key holder
* Set alarms and all safety systems are in order
You will be required to fully register with us including providing right to work documents along with obtaining an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that will be processed by us but comes at a cost of 47.20 (unless you already have one registered on the update service).
