An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join this global leading manufacturer. This is a newly created role and a brilliant opportunity for a long-term career within a manufacturing environment, offering internal progression and development.

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and have experience working in a similar position within business/data analysis, as well as being familiar with account practices and hold an accounting degree.

Role Description

  • Identify Company Improvements, handling daily business issues that impact the Company KPI results.
  • Analyzing processes and developing solution to present to department heads and the SMT.
  • Recognise business opportunities for S2P (safety, environmental, quality, cost, delivery, morale and productivity) to support the company attain these goals.
  • Continuously work to expand, preserve and improve the company's procedures whilst adhering to business and group policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assisting and supporting the Senior management team and Business sections with projects and business continuous Improvements.
  • Identifying areas that are not in keeping with company regulations, by regularly auditing/analysing process flows, reports, company procedures, work instructions etc.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, GDPR and information security rules and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to write clear and compelling process documentation and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Good understanding of data analysis methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Sound analytical background and data analysis competencies, inc. PowerBI
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices (required)
  • Proven experience in similar role within a manufacturing environment (required)
  • Recently qualified, part qualified or qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant (required)
  • Be comfortable looking at transformation across a high number of systems and business units
  • NEBOSH (desirable)
