Class 1 Driver

StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 driver on days for a company based in Telford. Start time would be 06:00 Monday to Friday or 1600 Monday to Friday

We are looking for highly motivated qualified day and night Class 1 driver with valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.

Remuneration:

Monday to Friday AM - £19.21

Monday to Friday PM - £20.54

*Please note that the above are assignment rates*

Responsibilities:

• This will involve delivering curtainside trailers nationwide.
• Trucking work
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Start time is either 0600 or 1600 dependent on your preference

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Experience driving container loaded trailers
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
