Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Business Development Manager to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Business Development Manager our client is offering:

  • £40,000 per annum DOE
  • 08.00 – 16.30 Mon – Thu and 08.00 – 15.30 on a Friday
  • Permanent
  • Hybrid working option (In office 1-2 times per month)

The role – Business Development Manager :

  • Increase sales & turnover to minimum £4m within 24 months.
  • Manage & develop existing customer base and key accounts.
  • Identify additional customers who mirror existing key accounts and develop those relationships
  • Researching prospective companies and gaining the opportunity
  • Develop & implement effective sales strategies.
  • Setting and attending new business meetings.
  • Report accurate monthly and quarterly sales performance and projections to the Directors
  • Manage existing sales resource and identify additional requirements in line with targets and sales performance

What our client is looking for in a Business Development Manager:

  • Proven track record of business development and increasing sales/turnover levels within similar businesses - ESSENTIAL 
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good networking skills- ESSENTIAL 
  • Hold a full, UK Driving licence - ESSENTIAL 
  • Construction / Offsite building industry experience ESSENTIAL
