The Role:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the care and development of children in an early years settings. Working as part of a vibrant team, you will help to deliver fun, engaging activities that nurture childrens learning and well-being. You will provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children, ensuring their safety while fostering an environment where they can grow, learn, and explore.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Record and monitor childrens progress, ensuring their developmental milestones are met.

Promote an inclusive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.


Requirements:

Essential:

A passion for working with young children and a genuine interest in their development.

Entry-level or Level 1 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).

Desirable:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is beneficial, but not required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
