Job Title: Cutter
As a Cutter, you will be responsible for precisely cutting materials according to specified patterns and measurements. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial in ensuring the quality of the final products.
Responsibilities:
- Use cutting tools and equipment to accurately cut materials such as fabric, leather, or other textiles.
- Follow patterns and measurements to ensure precise cuts for each piece.
- Inspect materials for any defects or imperfections before cutting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the sewing team to coordinate cutting schedules and material requirements.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking material usage and reporting any shortages.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cutter or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in using cutting tools such as scissors, knives, or rotary cutters.
- Knowledge of different types of materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting materials.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm. Temp to perm for the right candidates.
