Our established and well known international automotive manufacturing client, is looking for a permanent full time CNC Setter operator to join them on the shopfloor to strengthen their existing team.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior CNC Setter the CNC Setter/Operator will be first response to any minor automated issues that affect CNC operation on shift. A core member of the team, you will be responsible for the processing of castings on site, whilst ensuring a safe working environment is maintained, meeting their high quality standards. You will have experience with ABB robots, CNCs, straightening presses and be able to train when required.
Whilst monitoring CMM/GOM reports for quality issues, making offsets to maintain hole positions, recover the CNC machines from faults and report issues, change broken tools and check hole size with the correct gauges and recovery of ABB robots from emergency stop position and operation of all aspects of automated lines.
