Full time ,experienced CNC Operatorrequired immediately on a full time, temp to perm basis in Halesfield Telford.
Hours / Days of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Pay:
Up to£13 per hoursubject to experience , wages paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd for probation period will full time permanent contract available after 12 working weeks
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce UPVC and metal frames, playing a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes within fast paced manufacturing setting
Duties
- Operate , load and unload CNC machines
- Feed materials into CNC, monitoring quantities and output
- Assemble parts and perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Utilise hand tools and materials handling techniques effectively during the production process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows
- Maintain accurate records of production output
Essential Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery
- Experience with tooling and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
