We are recruiting for a local industry leader in Telford, who are looking for CNC Setter/Operator to join their experienced team. Favourable day shift and hourly rate on offer, and the opportunity to expand knowledge with new machinery.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC routers to machine parts and components.
- Reading technical drawings and ensure accuracy in machining processes.
- Program CNC routers using SCM Maestro Xilog, G-Code & Kimla technology.
- Work with a variety of plastic materials, including PE, PP & Tufnol/ Phenolic Insulation. Experience in plastic machining preferred but not essential.
- Quality control of finished products.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Router Operator/Setter.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials.
Preferred but Not Essential:
- Experience in plastic machining.
