CNC Setter Operator

Our client Based on the Outskirts of the Telford is looking to recruit a Skilled CNC Setter Operator. This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. This company produces a range of components for niche sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either CNC Milling, CNC Turning or Manual machining. Some training can be given to the right candidate.
CNC Setter Operator
- Setting and Operating CNC Machines
- An ability to read customer drawings and interpret customer requirements is essential.
- Experience of programming is an advantage but not essential, with onsite training allowing development.
- Competent in use of measuring equipment
- An ability to edit programs is advantageous
- Setting and operating machine tools to drawing specification
- Identify improvements in the processes where required
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
CNC Setter Operator Job details
- 15.50 per hour
- Permanent
- 39 hour week
- Days based role Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times/ early finish Friday
- Overtime paid at a premium x1.5
- Pension scheme
