Salary:3.50 - 14.50 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our client's team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and manipulate metal and other materials according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production of parts.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality of the finished product.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong understanding of metalworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
