We are working with a well-established, national manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a skilled Press Brake Setter to their Telford site. They are looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter to support their production. You will be responsible for setting and operating machinery, producing quality parts, and conducting machine maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

The Press Brake Setter will be responsible for:

  • Operating and setting machinery
  • Ensuring parts are manufactured to specification
  • Inputting data into PC to ensure correct manufacturing
  • Quality checking manufactured parts
  • Maintaining and fault-finding generic issues and escalating complex errors
  • Completing daily documentation
  • Working as part of a team to hit KPIs
  • Assisting with training of new staff
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience with press brakes will be ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with metal forming techniques will be ESSENTIAL
  • Good attention to detail
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Press Setter / Press Operator / Press Brake Setter / Press Brake Operator
