Your new companyYou will be joining a design and build contractor overseeing the successful delivery of civil works within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. They boast an impressive list of high-profile clients they work in partnership with and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to be based on sites in the Shropshire area. This is a full-time site-based position.

Your new roleAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations
  • Ensuring adherence with health, safety and environmental policies
  • Reporting progress to key project stakeholders
  • Managing construction activities
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
  • Maintaining budgets and schedules.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will:

  • Have previous experience in heavy civils, ideally in the water sector, in a site management or supervising capacity
  • Hold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualification
  • Understand health, safety and environmental policies
  • Be able to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractors
  • Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
