For the successful Team Leader our client is offering;

• Starting salary of up to £37,000 depending on experience
• 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am

As a Production Team Leader your responsibilities will be to:

• Lead a small team within your allocated cell, ensuring the efficient operation of high speed machinery 
• Ensure the operators work to the defined standards of performance and behaviour.
• Involvement in machine set up, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency via teamwork
• Support the Shift Manager to achieve the shifts KPIs and to escalate issues where necessary
• Carrying out various checks on machinery & identifying any issues, where possible aim to resolve these, if not ensuring they're being reported accurately
• Escalating issues to the Shift Manager
• Ensuring the Cell is adhering to safety rules & guidelines
• Identifying areas of training within the team

What our client is looking for a Production Team Leader:

• Previous Supervisory/Team Leader experience in a Manufacturing/FMCG environment- ESSENTIAL
• Able to work shifts - 12 hour Days & Nights- ESSENTIAL 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Able to lead and motivate a team
