Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile main contractor based in Telford operating in the water sector. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work with a major water provider in the Midlands region and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and due to continued success and significant growth, they are looking to onboard a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

Your new roleAs Senior Project Manager, you will be based out of their Telford office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and reviewing delivery and financial performance on projects
  • Ensuring successful project delivery by liaising with the delivery team throughout the course of the schemes
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes
  • Approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
  • Liaising with key project stakeholders including local authorities and the client
  • Holding accountability for H&S auditing.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water (clean or waste) industry, with a focus on cost control, quality and safety
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in working with NEC contracts
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
