We are looking for a Group Health and Safety Administrator to join our Group Health & Safety Team on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday.
As the Group Health and Safety Administrator you will support our ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance our health and safety, systems, reporting, analytics, vendor relationships and protocols. You will learn new systems and analyse data with a view to present easy to understand reports using Power BI and other analytics software.
Job Opportunity
You will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety systems, policies and procedures across the Northwood Group Companies.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- HS performance reporting and analytics - Management information for reviews
- Coordinate central H&S activities and administrator for all digital systems
- Overseeing the H&S document library and manage records and forms that come into the department.
- Being the custodian of the central HS and vendor portals to ensure users are live
- Claims administration and data collection
- Assessing training requirements, selecting vendors and arranging central training activities
- Quotes and invoicing for central purchasing and financial governance
- Central OH services admin and point of contact for service level agreement
- Submission of safety data to external bodies
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding health and safety inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintenance and improvement of HS Intranet content

Essential Skills
Essential Requirements
- High bias PC literacy including internal applications, cloud based portals, website navigation and MS office 365
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Experience in analysing and presenting data
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail able to work on differing priorities and work tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of management systems (ISO45001/14001)
Other relevant personal attributes
You will be curious to learn new systems and analyse data with a view to present easy to understand reports using Power BI and other analytics software.
Be comfortable with reaching out to vendors and internal stakeholders to provide expectations of required service levels and dealing with any constraints and blockers to the flow of HS systems.
As the nature of the role features highly confidential information relating to people, the candidate must show high levels of discretion and trust but be able to supply information in the right way to 3rd parties as needed.
