Job Opportunity: HSEQ Manager
Location: Based out of Telford Office (2 days in office, 3 days on site across the Midlands)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
My client is looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role to join their team. This role offers a mix of office and site-based work, providing you the opportunity to oversee and enhance safety, health, environmental, and quality processes across various construction projects in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Safety Oversight: Conduct regular site safety tours to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Maintain and renew construction accreditations such as CHAS and Constructionline.
- Manage and improve the staff training matrix, ensuring all employees have up-to-date certifications.
- Chair quarterly H&S committee meetings, providing leadership and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide support in both office (Telford) and on-site environments, collaborating with project teams to drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with general construction site knowledge.
- NEBOSH Construction preferred; NEBOSH General will be considered.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Midlands.
- Proficient in IT and office software.
