**Mechanical Assemblers required in Telford, Shropshire**
We are proud to be working with a well established manufacturing business in Telford to help them source 3 Mechanical Assemblers on a permanent basis, these additional requirements are due to an increase in orders, with the first half of 2025 full with orders!!!
The hiring manager is looking for people who hold a Full UK Driving license, as there are opportunities available both in the Workshop, and out on the road working at various customer locations across the UK.
The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is between £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (annual salary around £30K), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period.
These roles would be a great fit for someone who has Mechanical Assembly, Mechanical Fitting, Electrical Fitting, Vehicle Fitting Workshop Fitting experience, or has a passion for working with vehicles and has a good mechanical aptitude.
**What You Will Do:**
- Measure, cut down, and install components into vehicles, ensuring precision and quality at every step.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings to meet and exceed assembly specifications.
- Utilise a variety of hand and power tools, including spanners and drills, to perform tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Complete supporting paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
