Job Title:Temporary 7.5t ADR Driver (Agricultural Sector)
Location: Telford
Duration: Temporary, 1-3 days per week
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced on-going ad-hoc 7.5t ADR Driver to join our agricultural-based company in Telford. As a 7.5t ADR Driver, you will be responsible for making approximately 10 drops per day, delivering agricultural products to various destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver agricultural products to designated locations.
Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient completion of deliveries.
Load and unload products onto and from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate documentation for each delivery.
Provide excellent customer service, including maintaining professional communication with customers and handling any delivery-related inquiries or concerns.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any issues to management promptly.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local traffic and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a similar agricultural or logistics environment.
Familiarity with Telford and surrounding areas.
Ability to safely lift and move heavy agricultural products.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Flexibility to work 1-3 days per week, as needed.
Willingness to undergo any necessary background checks or screenings required for the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving commercial vans or vehicles.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Familiarity with agricultural products and related industry terminology.
