Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Telford. This full-time role, starting in April 2025, will support either an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1) class. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupil development, deliver engaging learning activities, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of the EYFS or KS1 curriculum.
  • Support the teaching of phonics, with a strong knowledge of phonics schemes required.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

  • Strong understanding of phonics delivery (e.g., Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds, or similar).
