For the successful Electrical Design Engineer our client is offering:
- Competitive annual salary offering up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Days 7:30am-4:30pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays
- Permanent Role
- Excellent opportunity to join a well established Engineering business
The role – Electrical Design Engineer;
- Design and manufacturing of electrical equipment & control systems
- Generating product technical files IE Bill of materials / Instructions etc
- Generating diagrams using Autodesk
- Providing customer support when required
- Attending site meetings
- Preparing of product documents and writing up reports
- Modification of drawings
- Researching suitable solutions and estimation of costs in line with timescales
- Ensuring work generated meets company standards
What our client is looking for in a Electrical Design Engineer;
- Engineering aptitude and very keen to learn
- This role would suit somebody who has completed a HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 2D / 3D knowledge
- Our client is open to considering Junior candidates but you must have previous experience within a Design office
- It is ESSENTIAL that you have had exposure to Design based packages (2D / 3D)
- Strong communication skills
