What You Will Do:
- Provide vital engineering support for machinery breakdown repairs, maintenance, and development within manufacturing operations.
- Assess, repair, maintain, and develop machinery and equipment, ensuring operational excellence.
- Drive forward projects from inception to completion, presenting solutions and project work in a structured format.
- Support plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality as directed, enhancing the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure engineering workshop procedures and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Liaise with suppliers to achieve optimum solutions, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders across the business.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience with PLCs – Siemens Type S5 and S7 preferred.
- Time-served Electrical Engineer with 17th Edition Electrical Installation or above.
- BTEC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Multi-skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with a methodical and solutions-led approach.
- Self-motivated and a team player, ready to work flexible hours to meet the business needs.
You will have worked currently or recently as multi-skilled maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, electrical engineer or automation maintenance engineer.
