Job Title: Electrical Engineer (RAID)

Our client, a leading organisation in the technology industry, is seeking a talented RAID Engineer to join their team in Telford. As part of the Customer Satisfaction & Quality team, the RAID Engineer will play a vital role in analysing, reworking, and diagnosing the issues of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities:
- Check and rework the boards
- Perform component analysis, including understanding the specifications, tolerances, and potential alternatives
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to PCBAs, resolving defects, malfunctions, or performance problems
- Ensure quality control by conducting thorough testing, inspection, and failure analysis
- Continuously optimise assembly processes to enhance efficiency and maintain high quality
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, analyses, and findings for future reference and improvement
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Desirable knowledge of PCB design, manufacture, and testing
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
