Our well-established client based on Hortonwood Telford are looking for experienced Panel Wirer to join their team on a full-time temp to perm basis, working 12 full weeks through Swift Temps before being offered a permanent contract through themselves.
This position is for those with panel wiring or electrical assembly experience ONLY. Those without this experience will not be considered.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Constructing and wiring electrical control panels according to technical specifications.
- Analyzing and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Installing electrical components, cables, and connectors.
- Guaranteeing all tasks are performed to exceptional quality and within set production timelines.
- Conducting tests and diagnosing issues in electrical panels to ensure proper operation.
- Complying with workplace health and safety guidelines.
Requirements for the Role:
- Prior experience working as a Panel Wirer is crucial
- Capable of reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- High level of attention to detail with a structured approach to tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Possession of relevant electrical qualifications
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 to 16:45
- Friday: 7:30 to 12:00
- Overtime available when needed
