The roles and responsibilities of the successful Process Operator:
- Ensure products meet the standard for quality
- Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers
- Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards
- Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis
- Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line
- Ensure safe working practices
- Support training of process staff
- Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder
The successful Process Operator must:
- Be observant and very good at attention to detail
- Escalate when and if problems occur.
- Challenge to ensure success is achieved.
- Have good communication skills to interact with fellow team members.
- Team worker, ability to liaise with all fellow team members.
- Have the ability to focus on getting things done in a methodical and organized way.
- Have excellent attendance & Punctuality
