The roles and responsibilities of the successful Process Operator:

  • Ensure products meet the standard for quality
  • Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers
  • Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards
  • Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis
  • Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line
  • Ensure safe working practices
  • Support training of process staff
  • Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder

The successful Process Operator must:

  • Be observant and very good at attention to detail
  • Escalate when and if problems occur.
  • Challenge to ensure success is achieved.
  • Have good communication skills to interact with fellow team members.
  • Team worker, ability to liaise with all fellow team members.
  • Have the ability to focus on getting things done in a methodical and organized way.
  • Have excellent attendance & Punctuality
