Your new companyHays are working with a large successful business who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team in Telford on a permanent basis Your new roleYou will work within a fast paced team and duties will include
- Produce a set of business performance analysis on a periodical base by using business intelligent tools
- Monitoring the various from actual performance against budget and plan.
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliation
- Maintain and control the clearance accounts like: GRNI, TO be invoiced etc.
- Monitoring the cost variance on the cost centre. Be able to eliminate the Data errors and storytelling on the various to budget combining with business knowledge
- Support with external audits (Financial, Quality, Customer)
- Support all managers and employees with retrieving and understanding information readily available to them and providing further information requested
- Support forecasting and variance analysis to budgets throughout the business
- Identify and investigate areas to improve company profitability
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that are reasonably requested by the leadership team
What you'll need to succeed
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Advanced excel skills
- Good critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to prioritise and manage own time and adapt to change
- Data processing
- Basic concept of financial reporting
