We are working with a manufacturing business in Telford who are looking to appoint a Finance Director. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team. In this role you will have overall responsibility for the whole finance department, managing a team of 3 direct reports.

Duties will include, but wont be exclusive to:

• Monthly management accounts.
• Annual budgets.
• Quarterly forecasting and strategic planning.
• Influence performance in the commercial and manufacturing activities of the Company.
• Drive through initiatives to ensure that the organisation improves efficiency, complies with corporate goals and achieves its profitability objectives.
• Financial evaluation of business projects.
• Ensure that the appropriate financial and management information is available on a timely basis to facilitate key business decisions.
• Liaising with auditors and other regulatory authorities.
• Direct and continually develop the IT operations and management information systems.
• Business lead contact for GDPR, property and insurance.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will need to be fully qualified with experience of working in a similar role. The ideal candidate will also have experience of takeovers and acquisitions and building a team.
